The Beamhacker journey started while creating countless bespoke stage and venue installations for events. What began with a more low fi / set design aesthetic increasingly evolved into using new technologies and DIY lighting techniques, incorporating LEDs, Fibre Optics, EL Wire, Lasers, VR and interactive sensors, always with a strong focus on immersion and challenging audience expectations.
Beamhacker has led on the design, build and programming of multiple temporary and permanent light art installations across the country for the likes of Vivid Festival, WA Museum, Perth Festival, Formula 1 Grand Prix and Red Bull as well as led lighting designs on Flim and TV projects for the likes of Pond, City of Perth and Spacey Jane.
2025 marked the Beamhacker international debut with festival appearances in the USA, Singapore, UK, New Zealand and Spain.
